How do I place an order online? |
STEP 1 - Find the products you want
Find an item that you require from Jan's Gift web site.
STEP 2 - Selecting your product
Click the "Buy Now!" button
for the product that you want to buy.
On clicking "Buy Now!" button, you will be taken to the basket page where you can see the item that you have selected along with it's price and some other details.
STEP 3 - Checking your order
At this point you may either continue shopping by clicking "CONTINUE SHOPPING" button
or finish your order by clicking "GO TO PAYMENTS" button.
If you have any special requests or massages, please enter them into a textbox down below of the page before you click "GO TO PAYMENTS" button.
To change the quantity of item, set the quantity you like and click on "RECALCULATE" button. To delete an item, set the quantity to zero and click on "RECALCULATE" button.
To calculate the cost of shipping, make a selection from the menu to the right and then click on the "RECALCULATE" button below.
By clicking View Cart link at the top and bottom of each page, you can always come back to this page and check the items you have selected.
STEP 4 - Completing your purchase details
You will now have arrived at the purchase details page. Here you will need to enter:
- Your name and address.
- Your phone and fax number.
- Your company name.
Once you entered all your details then click the "CONTINUE" button at the bottom of the page to complete your purchase details.
STEP 5 - Completing your payment details
You will now have arrived at the Standard Checkout page. Here you will need to enter:
- Your payment details (Payment details are collected using a SSL Secure server)
Once you entered all your details then click the "SSL SECURE PAYMENT" button at the bottom of the page to complete
your order.
Payment Security
Online Payments. In order to protect your credit card information from theft, a SSL Secure server
is being used that supports the SSL protocol. If your browser supports Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol
(currently the majority of browsers do), then your credit card information will be protected whenever you
submit a credit card number to us. We have designed our order software to automatically detect whether your browser
supports secure transactions. It will automatically notify you if your browser does not support this feature.
STEP 6 and Final STEP - Order confirmation
After a few moments (in which time your order will be checked) you will be given a customer receipt via E-mail.
This gives you the reasurance that you have gone through all the order steps successfully. Please make a note of this
customer receipt as it could be useful in the event that you need to contact us regarding your order.
In short
- Find what you want to buy
- Click on the "Buy Now!" button that relates to it
- Click the "GO TO PAYMENTS" button when you wish to buy it's contents
- Fill the required purchase details on the form and hit "CONTINUE"
- Fill the required payment details on the checkout form and hit "SSL SECURE PAYMENT"
- Make a note of your customer receipt
